Hi, having taken my rear wheel for a new spoke and some truing, it turned out it also needs the freehub servicing. However I am told it will take fourteen days to get the parts! - its a DTSwiss 9spd freehub on a DTSwiss hub (unsure exact model - its off a specialized enduro 08).
Has anyone else had such delays getting these parts? Thanks Owain

Unfortunatly I know all about one of those, the parts are probably several set of bearings, one of them is very special and most bearing suppliers have not heard of them, spoke to my wheel builder about this, his supplier could not get them, so after visiting about 3 or 4 in a very industrial area, finally found one, bought two sold it on to the wheel builder who will probably try to sell it back to me shortly.
The pawls may also req changing, my hub is just about had it, in many ways.

Even after waiting 14 days you may still get the wrong needle bearing assembly for the Onyx / Cerit OEM hub that they use on those bikes. the stock version used a narrow (4.7mm inc cage) width, and the OEM version is 5.2mm. when I've ordered them for bikes in the past, i get sent the 4.7mm version and when fitted it makes the freehub bind on the hub body and do anything but"freewheel". If they are ordered from Spesh, they may have stock of the wider version, but the hubs are pants anyway. Ust this as an excuse to upgrade the hub or wheel.
