Tyre repair tip.

Probably been done before but here goes. The toilet roll tyre boot.
Cut tiolet roll tube(s) down one side

Wrap around innertube

Refit tyre

Et voila Should get you home

Personally i think that is quality, and should win £100 vouchers - But..... What happens in wet weather and puddles? Soggy cardboard?

cracking idea, stuck out on a ride with a ripped tyre could mean the end of the ride, for the sake of a toilet roll tube things get going again.

wet weather should'nt effect it as the slit will seal okay unless there is an innertube trying to buldge its way through.

Good tip gore.

Refering to this months editorial - Warhead really should make a note of this tip. He might even decide to take a not quite empty loo roll on rides.

Good idea but it rains so much here its a no no like tyring to use soggy bog roll for its intended porpose!!

Try a used bit of toothpaste tube, does the same jobby!

If you happen to get such a bad blow out while riding the trails - you'll need a roll of loo paper to clean up the mess - so why not make use of the tube too!!
