Charity Bike Ride for British Heart Foundation - A Cheeky Request!
      #32690 - 08/06/2009 12:05

Here's a cheeky request!

A friend and myself are planning to ride the London to Brighton (off road) bike ride later this year for the British Heart Foundation. We both feel this is a very worthy cause and are putting in extra effort to complete the route in a decent time (Will give estimates nearer the time!). We would like to raise as much money as possible by doing this ride, so here we are asking for your sponsorship.

If anyone would be kind enough to sponsor us please visit the following web address (Extra details about the ride are also at this link!):

www.justgiving.com/ben_and_james

We are required to raise £100 each to take part in this event, but we hope to raise lots more for such a worthy cause. So if anyone would be kind enough to dig deep and sponsor us we (and the BHF) would be very grateful!

Perhaps MBR would be willing to sponsor us in some way???

We will be setting up various way for people to track our progress, and we hope to have Real-Time GPS data sent to a website on the day of the event itself!

Thanks
Ben and James
[Moral support is also greatly appreciated!]

will be better when I get get back out on my MTB, the exercise bike is a bit dull!

But got to get the knee back to full health before I really start training properly.

Do keep checking the twitter and flickr feeds, these will become more frequently updated as the training gets more interesting / when I have someone around to take pictures for me!

Thanks for the sponsorship - much appreciated!
