I ride here a couple of times a month and it never fails to be a decent ride. Cracking xc trail with the addition of the downhill course makes it well worth a day out. There's an uplift service in place for the downhill but its a bit on the pricey side. Oh, and it doesn't matter what the weather is doing because it drains sp well. Shame about the visitor center though, looks like it was built with no appreciayion of what mountain bikers need.

It's a cracking ride mate, they've recently changed the rides from the top and there's a freeride section, plus the downhill. I wish I only lived half an hour away from Cymcarn :-( The last section of downhill is fantastic, not quite as leg shaking as Machynlleth but still  fab!

I can just about see the top bit of the course, and the freeride section from my office window. And my son lives two kilometres from this bit. But I rarely ride there.
