Hey all,
Does anyone know if i can use my SRAM PC850 chain on a shimano IG crank ?

The chains from any manufacturer Sram/Shimano/conneX are all pretty much interchangable! the only thing you need to do is make sure you have the correct length and width of chain (i.e the correct number of links in the chain and the correct width for the drive train you have, 9 speed or 7/8 speed rear cassette)

Hi Celtic,
It's as the dude says.
7/8 speed chains links will flop around on a 9 speed rig and may not allow effective shifting.
9 speed links won't be wide enough to fit over the teeth properly of a 7/8 speed rig. Especially when the chain is being held away from it's natural straight line by the rear mech.
