Kielder - Saturday 16th May.
      #29366 - 10/05/2009 14:42

Anyone fancy a ride at Kielder on Saturday? It'll be the red route, meeting at Kielder Castle car park (READY TO RIDE ) for 12:00. For anyone who hasn't ridden with us before, we go at the pace of the slowest rider and everyone tends to fall off a fair bit, so don't be intimidated!

Definites so far:
SLB07 +1
CG172 (+1 - depends if the Mrs has recovered from a girls holiday to Benidorm... )

Come on you slackers - get your names down! Summer's nearly here and the beer bellies need to go.

Ok - just had a quick panic! The "Kielder Border Raid" is on that weekend, but I've rung the bike shop, and the lad there has assured me that this isn't taking place on the Deadwater trail, and that this should be open as usual (I'm just desperate to make sure that we don't end up with another "Avalanche Cup" fiasco!).

Distinct possabillity for me, shall confirm later in the week.

I have been practising falling off. What's the trails like there? any fun/fast/hard slog bits, or shall I have to find out for myself.

Summer! it's going to pelt down all day long, now that you have mentioned the S word!

Nothing to see up here. It's really boring. Just stay down south. Don't waste your time... It's much flatter than it looks too... Honest...

Looking like heavy rain on Fri, then light showers Sat afternoon, leading to more consistant rain from 4pm onwards.

Will, rain permitting, have an old mbr T-Shirt on.
