Southern XC v Th eWinter Challenge- Earlstoke

Has anyone ridden the XC course who could compare it with SPAMB's excellent Salisbury plain ride that happens in January. I was wondering how similiar the course is? The January event is usually a blast along some very open tank-Tracks followed by some more technical wooded sections, how does the summer XC course compare?

IT DOES NOT Simple......1 short piece of ST at the Winter challenge.
