This looks like a great event, and I'm pondering entering it. I ride a hard tail, would it cope with the route, or is Full suss recommended?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I've just got word from the organisers that this year's event has been postponed, possibly until next year. Apparently, they had to switch to a new venue this year as the old one was being renovated, and the new venue doesn't have a license to let people camp.
There should be an announcement later in the week on the website www.raasayrumble.com

Eyebrox, unknown: There are two spellings for the noun, licence and license - both are correct but the latter is the US version.

So are we in the US then?
Should it be color not colour? Bow not bough, plow not plough????
friendly fire not a cock up?

Think it's called blue on blue these days isn't it!?!
There are plenty of Americanisms in regular parlance, such as June 18 rather than 18 June.

Shame about Raasay though, anyone checked out the website yet?
