Bottom bracket size and front mech compatability ????

I'm currently replacing my holdsworth steel frame with a donated aluminium carrera fury frame.
The carrera came with shimano stx rc rear front mech, it also had a 110.5 bottom bracket.
My donor crank uses a 122 ish bottom bracket (biopace crank) if i were to put my old bottom bracket and crank on my new frame would my front mech still work after adjustment or am i just better buying a new crankset ?
