greetings. does the bridleway cross a field? if so who owns it cos if its classed as pasture the farmer has every right to graze his cattle on his land.always rermember a right of way can still be private land and the landowner has the right to use his own land for his own purposes ie his livleyhood.being a countryman myself i know a lot of farmers and foresters who are pig sick of "townies"who think they own the countryside.dont take this the wrong way mate but we are the visitors in someone elses back yard after all.
