Hi Elmer , had a 4x4 myself a couple of years ago and used one of these witter towbar racks , really quick to fit/take off and super sturdy ( mine held 3 full downhill bikes without any problems - min 130lbs clean) also very good price and well made (ebay £52ish delivered).
