Flannigan, when you are getting frustrated just sit down for a cuppa and calm a little then come back to it. It's a sure way to make stuff worse or break something if you allow yourself to more and more frustrated.

If you have a workstand then you will find that gear adjustments etc get a fair bit easier. They can be quite pricey though.
