Nice choice of rig,

CRC say it's a 30mm see atached link

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=15502

Most manufacturers make 30mm dia posts so it depends if you have a fave.

I'd reccomend Thompson though,

Nice and light, good n strong and rock solid in the tube.

I thank you Sir!

Went on to the Merlin site and picked up a 30.0mm 410mm in line Thomson post for £44.95. A good buy me thinks...

Nice one Tucano!

Again, I don't know how Merlin do the prices unless they are knocking out de-constructed components, either way it making life richer for the rider.

Just wish the bloke was happier in his work!

Miserable git .

Bloke who works in Merlin Cycles in Leyland Lancashire.

He's been in the shop each time I've visited with a gob on that makes me think he's lost a tenner and found a fiver.

Also tried to dodge having to replace a faulty item by saying it needed to go back to the manufacturer.

After a brief 'discussion' he saw my point of view and gave me a full refund.

I wouldn't use em if they weren't so cheap!

IMPORTANT!!!!

Mail order blokes are fine and provide a really great service!

It's just the personal touch that lets them down

Ive just bought a thompson elite from Merlin for £44 sheets. Couldn't believe the price, they must be making a loss as nobody else is anywhere near that price.
