High Street

Been reading the write up about High Street with some interest. I did that route in July (see my website for video) but decided not to follow the route round south side of Ullswater because of my experience the first time I did it. Too many walkers and very technical, which meant that I had to carry quite a lot. Instead if carried straight on to Poolybridge and got an extra couple of miles of very fast downhill, then took the road (I know... but I was knackered) back to Patterdale.
